so i joined boot camp today. tis suck. we ran a mile. i wanted to die. and then we had a PT test, our trainer counted and encouraged us and we were then suppose to do the same for them. I was so out of breath and dizzy, when the other trainer said "come on, encourage him" all i could think of to say was "nice butt". to my defense he was doing push-ups and his butt was like totally in my face. oh i hurt. |

WOOT WOOT! the semester from hell has officially ended!
2 more classes over the summer and I will have a Master's degree!!!!
YAY!
I am really looking forward to emerging from the rock that I have been living under for the past year, and I am going to start tonight! B's birthday party is tonight, and we are all going to see SPIDERMAN in columbus...quite fun. I don't know if it is customary to drink large amounts of alcohol during new comic release movie days, but I am going to start to night.
going home again next weekend, and leave for England on monday in order to arrive on my B-Day.

okay, so yeah. I have one more week of outright hell left in school, then one week of a slightly lesser version of hell left. I am on page 7 of 20 page paper due thursday, and that would not be so bad except i will be student teaching all next week still, and i have two other huge projects also due thursday. then next week my big portfolio for certification is due. then i go get fingerprinted for my job, go to england, turn 25, come back and sign my contract !!!!
i have two classes over the summer, but they are going to be a cakewalk after what I have been through the past 3 semesters.
If I can only get this paper done. |

dear me, i am soooo exhausted and chirstmased- out! im finally back in atlanta, and i had a joyous night's sleep last night in MY bed, with MY pillow and MY boyfriend (not to imply that i was sleeping with someone else's boyfriend over the holiday) anyway...i am just so happy to sleep until 11 o clock...this has been my schedule
dec 23rd- law family xmas party- my entire family congregates at my house(approx 60 people)always a headache and stressful but this year even more so because my mother just moved and nothing was in its proper place...leaving ALL the cooking to me in an oven that doesnt work!
dec 24th- breakfast with real sister, open presents
-lunch with step brothers and sisters at my moms house- open presnts
- dinner at grad parents- open presents
december 25th- open presents with mom at 8:00am, zoom to atlanta open presents with patrcik, zoom to rome open presents with patricks family and eat dinner...sleep;iy drive home- CRASHOUT
xmas is great and everything...but i am soooo happy that there is a year between now and the next one |

so my mom moved. and a little bit last week and all of this week i will be here helping her sort out the house for the extreme xmas extraganza to be host by here on the 23rd. i couldnt come and pack up my room, so mom just threw EVERYTHING in boxes. the result has been me uncovering lost treasure that were long forgotten from highschool.
the best find has been a multitude of clothing. I now have cordirories(sp??) up the wazoo and so many forgotten pairs of shoes...including my first pair of birkenstocks purchased in paris, oh! and my favorite mary janes that i did ballroom dancing in! so very excited!
also among the stuffs is a multitude of scary love letter from my highschool boyfriend joel...including poems, school notes, and a lot of dried rose petals. im not sure what to do with these really...i should throw them away..but i am thinking about keeping them as archive/testiment of how stupid and idoitic female teenagers are...to keep me in touch with my students or something...
i dunno

has anyone else seen that commerical about college students..i think its target..well i have so turned into the "hyperorganius" or whatever they call it on the commercial. my life is filled with energy drinks, and organizers. before i will commit to anythin i pop out my organizer and check the date. I have to be really...i'm taking 3 graduate courses, 1 undergraduate course, 20 hours worth of work for my GRA position, and a 6 week practicum that hasnt started yet. I am also trying to get enough school work done so that I can go to the National counsel for Social Studies conference in DC in early december (the middle of finals week) my plan is to get everything done early so that I can go. I LOVE conferences..they are so much funa dn you get so much free stuffs. la la la...

so i open up the AJC to learn that my hometown of columbus,ga won the world championship against japan in baseball. and right when my heart was thinking good job guys i begin to look at the pictures. there are many candid shots of little blonde boys fron columbus happy and hugging each other, and sad japanese boys crying and looking pissed..this is all normal and what you would expect. what i did not expect was the team names on the jersy. my team's jersey said "southeast" while the team from japan said "asia". this i found a little funny, and odd.
okay so i can see that we were going with a geographical theme here, but why does columbus team have their regional american geographic name, and japan just has "ASIA" like they are the only country in "asia"..

so i got 3 As and 1 B this semester. and I have been chosen for the only GRA position in our program..IM SO EXCITED! this means free tuition!! yay!
i met my other sister, she is crazy..and i really like her.
also, im going to disney world with my mom on thursday, and we are going to visit erin (patrick's sister)while we are there
